About Me

My name is Catherine.  I’m 26 years old.   I live in Richmond, Virginia with my terrific husband Eric and our adorable Golden Retriever puppy, Seamus.  I’m going to use this blog to keep track of the new things I try, so I can learn from it all.  Hopefully it makes me a better person.  Or at least a better furniture painter/puppy trainer/pastry chef/etc.

Hold the phone! I had no idea you had another blog! I heart this one, too and I’ll be adding it to my roll.

So I has a question… Are you thinking about going to grad school for English/Writing? I wasn’t sure but you write so well and I’ve got A LOT to learn so I’m looking for anything and anybody that can help a girl out.

Hope you have fun LBD weekend plans!

Ashley, Umm, you’re awesome. Thanks for the boost of confidence! I’m not really looking at grad school right now, mostly because I feel like I have to find some direction before commit to a program/take out a shit ton of loans. However, I love school and if I won the lottery, I’d probably spend it on being a professional student. I’m so jealous that you’re going after your Master’s right now. And I want to hear more about that class! Is it everything you hoped for?

This weekend was more about paint splattered sophie shorts than little black dresses, but it was fun all the same. 🙂

I, too, would love to be a professional student. I can’t think of anything more fun! But it’s not gonna happen so I’ve got to suffer through my advertising job until I absolutely have to quit. It’s going to be a long process but I’m determined to make it happen! I don’t blame you for waiting. This Foreign Services thing sounds really cool! Good luck w/ the application process!

The Young Adult Lit class is really interesting. A lot of theory! I’ve got 3 books and a paper due in a week and I haven’t even started. Getting overwhelmed but I think it’s just jitters.
